Mr Ringo Sportsbook Review

Set up by three young entrepreneurs in 2015, Mr. Ringo is an incredibly new addition to the competitive bookmaking industry.

The bookmaker is a subsidiary of Star World Limited, a company based in Malta and licenced and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority.

Mr. Ringo has put in equal effort to its sportsbook, Live Casino and Casino. Their online gaming software consists of a combination of excellent software providers including Greentube, NetEnt, Microgaming, Play’n Go, Evolution, Genii and TAIN. All of their games are available in flash mode and therefore there is no need to download additional software.

The sportsbook has markets and wagers provided for by TAIN, meaning that there are thousands of daily wagers available. The focus of the sportsbook is predominantly on football.

The site focuses on its European market and operates in English, Finnish, French, German, Norwegian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish languages. Mr. Ringo is restricted in the US, France and Greece

Despite regular updates across Facebook, Twitter and Google+, Mr. Ringo still has a relatively low number of followers and is struggling to break even 500 people. However, the site is only a year old and over time as Mr. Ringo becomes more recognised this number will surely grow.

Betting Markets

Mr. Ringo offers a modest selection of sports with thousands of wagers available each day and very competitive odds. Currently Mr. Ringo offers markets for:

Football, Women’s Football, American Football, Aussie Rules, Baseball, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Cycling, Golf, Handball, Ice Hockey, Mixed Martial arts, Politics, Rugby Union, Tennis Men and Tennis Women.

Although there is a good selection of sports available, Mr. Ringo is clearly missing out on a few lucrative markets such as E-Sports, Surfing, Racing and much more. The bookmaker should seriously consider adding more options to the sportsbook as they develop and aim to attract more players.

Live Betting

Despite having no live streaming facility and no option for cash out, Mr. Ringo have an excellent live betting platform which offers impressive visuals, compared to even the most popular bookmakers, a great range of wagers available that are neatly designed and comprehensive statistics supplied by Score24.

One of my favourite options available is the simplicity to ‘favourite’ certain games and be able to access them, along with your betslip, very quickly.

Usability of the site

At first the design of the website does not appear to be too special or different, but the more you use the site the more you come to realise how well designed it is in terms of functionality. The aesthetics of the sportsbook could be improved and there were some issues with loading pages, meaning I had to sometimes refresh my window in order to view the site properly, but with such a new sportsbook these are only minor issues that will surely be addressed.

For new players there is an attractive 100% bonus on deposits of up to 100 Euros, and for the more loyal players there are 20% bonuses on up to 50 Euros for deposits on a Monday or between their happy hour, which is from 7pm to 9pm.

The website offers good mobile support for all devices and there is no need for an additional app. There is also good customer support, which allows players to contact Mr. Ringo via an in-built e-mail option or through their dedicated 10am to 6pm live-chat facility for any issues that may arise. However, some players may have problems with this depending on their time zone and a lack of phone customer support may detract from some players’ experience.

Mr. Ringo offers an decent range of payment options including Skrill, Neteller and PaySafe Card, but it is not the most comprehensive list.

Conclusion

Overall Mr. Ringo offer a decent service especially considering their infancy in such a highly competitive industry, but they still have some work to do before they can be as successful as they hope. With more attention given to aesthetics, customer support and the markets available in its sportsbook, Mr. Ringo will surely attract players from countries all across the globe.
