Mobilbet Sportsbook Review

Mobilbet is licensed in Malta and operates from the EU’s smallest member state. It’s operated by a company called Co-Gaming Ltd which itself is regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and saw its licence issued in October 2014.

Scandinavian firm Co-Gaming Ltd is also responsible for the sportsbook ComeOn. As such a new operator Mobilbet still making a name for itself and is yet to sign any deals though, if the case of ComeOn is anything to go by Co-Gaming will look to sign some partnerships sooner rather than later.

Unsurprisingly with its choice of name, at Mobilbet there’s a big, big focus on mobile. Its tagline is ‘Win anytime, anywhere’ and you can barely move around the site without being shown images of phones and tablets with a Mobilbet product up and running.

Due to its focus on its home Scandinavian markets, Mobilebet has previously signed Norwegian X-Games champion Andre Villa as brand ambassador.

Betting markets

The casino is a major focus of this operator though its sportsbook is a solid offering.

In addition to the usual suspects of football, golf, and tennis Mobilbet offers a solid chunk of other sports, with a focus on those that are popular in the likes of Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Handball features high up the list as does ice hockey, but European Football is its key focus.

A full list of the sports Mobilbet offers is here: football, tennis, ice hockey, basketball, handball, baseball, American football, rugby league, golf, snooker, motor racing, darts, cycling, speedway, volleyball, boxing, floorball, winter sports, badminton, rugby union, bandy, olympic games, Aussie rules, MMA, cricket and esports. It also offers a limited range of specials in the form of politics and novelty markets.

It doesn’t offer markets in horseracing.

Inplay betting

The in-play section of the sportsbook is well designed and offers a large amount of live betting events in football from competitions worldwide, in addition to a number of other sports.

With the live betting specific search function events are easy to find, and Mobilbet offers a range of viewing options including Overview, Event View and Live Schedule.

Usability of the site

Users will immediately recognise Mobilbet’s innovative nature when accessing it via desktop or mobile. The black and green colour scheme is complemented by the graphics and a top notch user interface. The top navigation bar is simply split into Sports, In-Play, Casino, Live Casino and Promotions, and there’s a search bar just below.

Via mobile, where Mobilbet excels, the experience is intuitive but pushes users towards casino games more than sports betting.

At the time of writing Mobilbet offers a Deposit 50, Get 50 free initial promotion. Users must wager seven times the combined deposit and bonus amount to fulfill the bonus requirements and be able to withdraw. Customer support is available via email and Live Chat only. Customer support is far from 24/7 and is only available 11am – 8pm.

Mobilbet customers earn points as they play which accumulate and allow customers to make purchases in

Accepted deposit and withdrawal methods include debit or credit card, Neteller, Skrill Moneybookers and PaySafe Card.

Conclusion

In a similar vein to ComeOn, Mobilbet is an innovative operator backed by the same Scandinavian company Co-Gaming Ltd. Its mobile product is strong as is the user interface, graphics and live betting product.

Customer support is far from comprehensive enough and is its main area for improvement. The casino gaming offering is extensive, and whilst it doesn’t offer horseracing it caters well to Scandinavian audiences with a range of European football markets, ice hockey and handball.
