LVbet Sportsbook Review
LVbet is a part of Fairload Ltd, a Malta based company, and as such it’s no surprise that LVbet is itself Malta based and licensed.
It was casino first but now offers a sportsbook too with a variety of promotional options to attract customers. The firm works with a variety of recognised brands in gambling including NetEnt, Microgaming, GreenTube and more when it comes to casino games and respected and known payment suppliers such as Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard and more.
The betting operator utilises the industry renowned BetConstruct for its odds meaning the sportsbook has an extensive list of sports for users to choose from, from football to Formula 1. LVbet is a relatively new operator having emerged in 2015, but it is able to target much of Europe via its Maltese Gambling Licence.
LVBet is partnered with GamCare, which is a body aimed at tackling problem gambling and gambling addiction. LVbet operates an affiliate scheme, which is what the vast majority of gambling operators rely on these days for traffic, and its scheme is transparent and clearly displayed for anyone visiting the site.
As mentioned LVbet uses BetConstruct as its supplier meaning it offers a wide range of sports betting markets. These include: Football, Tennis, Golf, Cricket, American Football, Australian Rules, Baseball, Basketball, Boxing, Chess, Curling, Cycling, Darts, Esports, Futsal, Floorball, Handball, Ice Hockey, Motorsports, Netball, Olympics, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Rugby Sevens, Bandy, Snooker, Squash, Surfing, UFC/MMA, Volleyball and some others.
Notably, LVbet makes the smart choice to split up its esports offering into the relevant titles; namely in this case Dota 2, League of Legends, CS:GO and Overwatch.
LVbet also offers politics and entertainment options, and has both a Specials section and one titled ‘What, Where, When’. This operator doesn’t offer horse racing but has a range of virtual sports options showing it’s one which is looking to the future.
Live betting is a key remit and focus of LVbet’s platform and the design is tailored towards pushing it to customers. The live betting calendar and statistics page help in this regard.
The platform is nicely laid out for in-play betting and the mobile optimisation helps too. One option LVbet currently lacks is live streaming of events for customers which is something a number of the bigger and more established operators have been including in their offer for some time.
Usability of the site
LVbet is mobile optimised and the mobile on the go experience is a good one, which many of today’s bettors and would-be bettors will appreciate should they use the operator.
The site layout is simple, a smart decision in this day and age, with just two key options at the top; casino and live casino. The top left has a dropdown menu which displays its full range of options for customers. LVbet ran with a black and yellow colour scheme, it has a live events calendar, it offers virtual sports and customer service options include live chat (vital to ensure true customer satisfaction) in addition to the old faithfuls of email, phone support and an FAQs section.
Some FAQ sections are weak but LVbet have committed to making it one which is actually useful for players. The live support too is available in not just English, but German, Polish and Russian too which shows its core target demographic. As for the customer support, we particularly like the fact that you can fill out a form on the site and leave your email rather than having to email separately. It’s basic features like this which make all the difference to user experience.
The site is available in four languages (English, German, Turkish and Polish) and it has a good and in-depth promotions section which, to our knowledge, is changed and updated regularly.
The LVbet statistics section is a nice touch and will be something the savvier bettors make use of.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the layout of LVBet’s platform, it’s simple to navigate, has all the key options though if it wishes to stand out perhaps the logo could do with a re-think.
LVbet is a relatively new kid on the block but it has come armed with a well-designed platform, a plethora of sports betting options, a strong casino section and some inviting promotional offers.
It is mobile optimised so good for betting on the go but its live betting does lack event streaming as of the time of writing. One thing we liked about the sportsbook on LVbet is that it categorises esports by title, a smart move which recognises the differing (and rapidly expanding) audiences of these games.
LVbet doesn’t offer horse racing but we don’t imagine this’ll hold it back as it grows as long as it continues to sign established partners, make smart platform choices and focus on the customer as it does with its extensive customer service suite.
