BetBright Sportsbook Review
BetBright is an online bookmaker which runs a sportsbook and casino. It has a licence from the UK Gambling Commission and is based in Dublin, Ireland. It’s run by parent company Dedsert Ltd and has an Irish licence too.
BetBright has been involved in horseracing sponsorship in the past, it sponsored the National Hunt chase in Great Britain, taking over from the Racing Plus in 2014. The operator has also sponsored the Festival Trials Day at Cheltenham, this deal was agreed in 2015 for an initial three year term. Brian Farrell, BetBright Marketing Director, said at the time: “BetBright are delighted to be supporting Cheltenham on Festival Trials Day. Starting from our four races on New Year’s Day, BetBright’s Cheltenham sponsorships are helping to provide a clear path for punters – and everyone in racing – to assess their potential Festival fancies. TheBetBright Cup Chase will be a key indicator towards this.”
In terms of ambassadors the popular midfielder and golfing fanatic Jimmy Bullard contributes to the BetBright blog with video and written content.
BetBright is active on Twitter, it has over 14,000 followers and utilises an effective strategy which sees it post interesting infographics, team news and links to its blog. Essentially, it does social media smart and isn’t all about the hard sell.
Betting Markets
BetBright offers its punters a strong selection of sports to wager on. Here they are listed in full: American Football, Baseball, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Darts, Football, Greyhound Racing, Golf, Handball, Horse Racing, Ice Hockey, Motor Sports, MMA, Olympics, Rugby League, Rugby Union, GAA Football, GAA Hurling and Tennis.
BetBright also offers Virtual Sports, Politics and Entertainment markets. Whilst it could offer a few more niche sports it caters well enough to the vast majority of fans especially in the UK and Ireland its key markets.
Live Betting
In-play betting at BetBright is an all round great experience. The site is designed nicely for live betting, there’s the option of the BetBright app too.
There’s also the innovative BBTV which is superb if you’re a horse racing fan or bettor. Try it out yourself as words won’t do it justice. There is live streaming on all UK and Irish races.
Usability of the site
The site is bright (surprise, surprise) and has a modern feel; it’s easy to navigate around, customer support is easy to find, odds are simple to change from fractional to decimal and promotions and the blog are accessible.
The BetBright app is up there with the best of them, whilst the BetBright blog is one of the best in the bookmaking business. Whilst blogs may not necessarily give a huge boost to customer volume and traffic, they add alot to overall customer experience and with tipster pieces, especially from figures such as Jimmy Bullard they’re likely to lead to more confident betting. This is always a good thing for a bookie and makes the experience more enjoyable, as it should be, for the punter.
Customer support is available via phone, email (support@betbright.com) and live chat. There’s also a contact form on site and a comprehensive FAQs section to boot.
Banking wise is where BetBright lets you down slightly. It only accepts card payments from Visa and Mastercard etc. but does not currently allow e-wallet transactions though an agent stated there are plans to incorporate this.
Conclusion
BetBright is the home of horse racing, and especially for live betting, it is the place to come for betting on the sport of Kings. It supports the sport too via sponsorships and with the BetBright blog backing it up, as well as BBTV, horse racing fans need look no further.
It could do with adding some more niche sports, and needs to allow at least the major e-wallets, but overall BetBright is a great online bookie and should keep it up with more of the same!
